It's Bastille Day! To celebrate, I'm sharing a look at my favorite pavilion in the World Showcase- France. Someday I hope to really visit France but until then I like to daydream about it especially when I am at Epcot!
One of my favorite things about this pavilion is their great selection of French champagne! They have my favorite Moët & Chandon Impérial and even the Moët & Chandon Brut Rosé. So good! Santé!
Last time we were there we were able to watch the "Serveur Amusant." It was really quite amazing! This acrobat balanced on top of several chairs that were on top of wine bottles on top of a table!
The France pavilion is also home to two great restaurants, Chefs de France and Monsieur Paul. I've dined at Chefs de France a few times but my favorite time was when we saw Remy at lunch! Unfortunately he doesn't visit Chefs de France anymore (I imagine he must be very busy with his own restaurant) but I'm so glad we were able to see him while he was at Epcot! It was fun to meet the little chef!
The other restaurant, Monsieur Paul, is located above Chefs de France. I actually haven't had dinner there but I did go there for an EPCOT Food and Wine Festival event where I tried some of their desserts. They remain the most delicious desserts I've ever tasted!
There's also a film you can watch while at France Pavilion called Impressions de France. I always like to watch it both for the pretty views of France and the beautiful classical music.
I hope everyone had a wonderful Bastille day! I'll end this with an adorable Mickey cartoon because listening to Mickey say "allons-y!" is the best - enjoy!
Bright beautiful photos Nerissa! The acrobat is so cool! Oh my gosh that dessert...yummmm. Thanks for sharing the Mickey cartoon.ReplyDelete
